1984 didn't exactly turn out as George Orwell predicted, but something that would forever change all our lives did occur that year--Stately Wayne Manor made his debut within the pages of Wrestling World magazine. At last, those bored of the Bard and tired of Tolstoy had a place to find REAL quality literature.
In 1994, a second Magical Manor Moment took place: Stately blessed the universe via another premier, a simultaneously written (albeit different) column for UK's Power Slam magazine. As could be expected, "Manor's Mat Musings" was hailed as an instant classic, and beloved by all Britons. It should also be noted that, as of October 2002, Stately switched gears with his Power Slam material--and with this new direction came a new column title: Flips, Whips, Snips & Quips.
The purple buttons below will link you to virtually all of the Mat Messiah's takes on the bonebending biz. To quote the second Carly Simons song Stately inspired, "Nobody does it better."

Did you know...Stately was scheduled to appear on "Sneak Previews Goes Video" the season the popular film review program switched formats, but SWM was axed at the eleventh hour when PBS higher-ups decided the topic he was to discuss (pro wrestling tapes) was too low-brow for them? Keep that in mind next time PBS comes looking your way for a handout. "I'm sorry, but my money isn't classy enough for your network," is a recommended response.
